Day 1 Kathmandu
Arrive in Kathmandu, you will be met and assisted by our representative and transfer
to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 2 Kathmandu
This morning after breakfast proceed for a full-day tour of Kathmandu. Visit the
Durbar Square with its old Royal Palace (Hanuman Dhoka), numerous interesting temples,
and the Kasthamandap. Next visit Swayambhunath Stupa, the oldest Buddhist shrine.
A golden spire crowning a conical wooded hill, Swayambhunath Stupa is the most ancient
and enigmatic of all the holy shrines in Kathmandu valley. Also visit the Pashupatinath
Temple, regarded as the most sacred temple of Hindu Lord Shiva in the world. Later,
visit Bouddhanath temple, a Tibetan buddhist monument. Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight in Kathmandu.
Day 3 Pokhara
This morning after breakfast drive to Pokhara (210 kms / 6 hrs approx). Arrive Pokhra
and check in to your hotel. Pokhara is known for its lovely lakes Phewa, Begnas
and Rupa, which have their source in the glacial Annapurna Range of the Himalayas.
Visit the Phewa Lake. Later, take a cable car ride up to Manakamana Temple. Manakamana
is the wish fulfillment goddess. Many Hindu and Buddhist devotees visit this temple
to make a dream come true. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Pokhara.
Day 4 Pokhara
Early morning, proceed for a tour of Sarangkot. From here, you can see a panoramic
sweep of Himalayan peaks, from Dhaulagiri in the west to Machhapuchhare and the
rounded peak of Annapurna II in the east. Later visit the World Peace Pagoda, situated
on the top of a hill. It has four images of Buddha facing in four directions. Visit,
the charming Old Bazaar, which also houses the Bindyabasini Temple. Overnight in
Pokhara.
Day 5 Chitwan
Drive to Royal Chitwan National Park (160 kms / 4 hrs approx). Arrive Chitwan and
check in to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 6 Chitwan
This morning after breakfast proceed for your first elephant safari, an exciting
part of the tour, which provides an opportunity to get a close view of the endangered
one-horned rhinoceros. You may also get a glimpse of the elusive Bengal tiger. Later,
hop into a wooden canoe for a tour of the Rapti River, where the Gahrial crocodiles
sunbathe on the shores. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight in Chitwan.
Day 7 Kathmandu
This morning after breakfast proceed for your second elephant safari. Later drive
to Kathmandu (185 kms / 5 hrs approx). Arrive Kathmandu and check in to your hotel.
One can enjoy Casino and Shopping activities. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight
in Kathmandu.
Day 8 Onwards
This morning after breakfast proceed to the airport to board the flight for your
onward destination.
